Staff Training: a necessary tool
Staff Training will be a recurring topic on our schedule.
This year a large number of our staff members were replaced. Reason enough to have an internal Staff Training. The training lasted almost two weeks and covered various topics. In order to get a common mind set questions were asked like: what is NATO? What is Military Engineering? What does it mean to be Subject Matter Expert (SME)? How do we stay SME? Which guiding documents are available for this?
The staff went through the different processes of information gathering, processing and distributing, setting up and maintaining courses.
Lessons from existing courses where reviewed and updated. This successful Staff Training was the first of many Staff Training sessions to come.
