Aim
The aim of the NATO Senior Joint Engineers Conference is to enhance the overall MILENG posture of the Alliance. The experience of senior NATO and national engineers is available to direct the development of all aspects of MILENG capability, particularly as this applies to higher level defence planning, concepts, doctrine and standardization. The output guides the program of work for both the MCLSB MILENG Working Group and MILENG Centre of Excellence as well as making recommendations to NAC, MC, NATO Commands and Nations.
MILENG COE's Role
The MILENG COE provides the secretariat for the NATO Senior Joint Engineers Conference (NSJEC); this provides the MILENG COE a unique and influential role in shaping and contributing to the highest levels in NATO and NATO Nations in respect of MILENG issues. Through this role, the MILENG COE provides continuity; ensuring issues are pursued outside meetings and concluded satisfactorily at the highest MILENG level.
Target audience
NATO Partner National Senior (Joint) Engineers, or their mandated representatives, NATO command structure and NATO FORCE structure Chief Engineers.
