​MILENG COE Mobile Training Team

MILENG COE offers Mobile Training Teams for sponsoring nations available upon request according to our concept.

The most recent experience was the MTT conducted in Greece on 11 March 2014 at Kilkis / Greece in MPSOT (Multinational Peace Support Operations Training Centre) within the course “Multinational Peace Support Operations Basic Course’’.

Multinational Peace Support Operations Basic Course

 

The aim of the Multinational Peace Support Operations Basic Course was to prepare officers from different countries for assignment as platoon leaders and/or company commanders, for the conduct of PSO led by NATO or other regional security organizations.

 

At the end of the course the student should know at least in awareness level the following topics:

 

  1. International Organization
  2. General Preparations of National Contingents.
  3. Hostage Survival.
  4. Code of Contact
  5. Media relations
  6. Negotiation – Mediation
  7. Orientation techniques
  8. Principles of Multinational Operations .
  9. First aid procedures.
  10. Mine/IED awareness.
  11. PSO techniques.
  12. Intro to CIMIC.
  13. ROE’s and use of force.
  14. Crowd Riot control (CRC) in patrolling and in reconnaissance .
  15. MILENG support to Force Protection in relation to PSO.
  16. MILENG Support to Joint Operations in relation to PSO.

 

 

Based on the MPSOT’s request, T&E instructors delivered two specialist lectures regarding to this course objectives. “MILENG Support to Joint Operations” was delivered by Major Remigiusz Michoń (POL) and MSG Geoffrey Long (USA) exchanged his experience and knowledge with “MILENG support to Force Protection”
 

 

The feedback for the provided training was very good and according to the MPSOT press release. 

 

“The Hellenic MPSOTC, honoured and thanked the experienced instructors Major (POL) Remigiusz Michoń from and MSG (USA) Geoffrey Long, from the «Military Engineering Centre of Excellence - MILENG CoE», who came for two days from Germany to teach and testify their experience, to trainees who participate the «MN PSOs Officers BASIC Course», taking place from 10 – 21 March 2014 to the Hellenic MPSOTC premises.”
